Tracking a ghost, hunting down a rogue necromancer - business as usual in a Minneapolis where werewolves, demons, and magic are real and known. But then witch AJ gets news that sends a chill down even someone who can't feel heat anymore: there are suddenly way too many witches in the Twin Cities, and those in charge of keeping the balance fear it may lead to a war, or worse.
